In terms of value for money, even GetReponse’s Basic plan includes a whole host of advanced features, such as segmentation and personalization. The Plus and Professional plans also include CRM, webinar, and funnel building sales management capabilities

If you only want email marketing features then the Basic plan has pretty much everything you need, and you can also get additional features such as webinars as add-ons without having to upgrade. The only major feature that isn’t available in this price plan is the ability to create landing pages.

GetResponse’s ease of use

Normally, the more features a piece of software has, the longer it will take you to get up-to-speed with how it works. This should be especially true for GetResponse, as it is not just an email marketing software, but it also has e-commerce, CRM and lead generation and management features.

However, GetResponse is the exception. With its modern, sleek user interface, navigating around the solution is easy and it gives you the confidence it can deliver what you need to create compelling campaigns.

While it does take some time to work out how to navigate to each option and how to get where you want to go (and then back to the main menu), this isn’t a lasting issue because of the ability to personalize and customize the main dashboard with the widgets you use most.

Navigating the user interface

Once you’ve set up a GetResponse, you are presented with three different options (funnels) with three different goals:

  • Build a list
  • Sell a product
  • Promote a webinar

If you have a specific goal in mind, you can choose one of these funnels and GetResponse will guide you through the different steps you need to take to get started. Or you can navigate directly to the main menu. The problem is that once you’ve left the funnel workflow, it’s not immediately obvious how you navigate back there, or how you start a different funnel.

Once you’ve found the feature you’re looking for, it is simple to achieve each task quickly because GetResponse’s user interface is intuitive and well-designed. But finding the option is sometimes the problem. When you click on a button it’s hard to be sure which page it’s going to take you to.
