Probability You Would Recommend?
Pros: SEMrush is my favorite competitive intelligence and SEO tool. I use it to keep track of our SEO efforts with position tracking along with competitive backlink analysis. This tool has paid for itself and regularly makes you look like a real professional marketer. The reports are sharp and its not too hard to learn if you’re willing to put in the time.
Cons: The number of things that you can do with this tool can make learning it difficult. There are also some features that are not as fleshed out as they could be, but still very happy with its core uses. I also wish they integrated with Matomo because we do not use google analytics and cannot take advantage of that integration.
Overall: I started with the free trial a few years ago and would use it in one off competitive searches for a while. Since upgrading to the Guru plan, I would definitely recommend going with the paid version to get the historical data and the keyword tracking as it helped us make more informed decisions and identify and capitalize on areas of growth that we would have never known about.
